The story of how Shoot Studio came to be – from an empty warehouse to a fully-equipped creative space. Lessons learned, challenges faced, and dreams realized.
Two years ago, I stood in an empty 2000 sq ft warehouse in Ludhiana, seeing not what was there, but what could be. Today, Shoot Studio stands as a testament to vision, persistence, and countless cups of chai.
The Vision
I wanted to create more than just a photography studio. I envisioned a creative hub where photographers, videographers, and content creators could bring their visions to life. A space that inspired creativity the moment you walked through the doors.

The Challenges
Building a studio during a pandemic was... interesting. Supply chain issues meant waiting months for equipment. Finding skilled contractors who understood the specific needs of a photo studio was another hurdle.
- Acoustic treatment for the podcast room took three attempts
- Electrical work needed complete rewiring for studio lights
- Sourcing professional backdrops from overseas was delayed 6 months
- The cyclorama wall alone took 3 weeks to perfect
“Every challenge was a lesson, every setback a setup for something better.”

The Result
Today, Shoot Studio features a main photography studio with a 12-foot cyclorama, a dedicated product photography area, a fully-equipped podcast room, and a client lounge. Every corner was designed with the creative in mind.

If you're thinking of building your own studio, my advice is simple: plan more than you think you need, budget for surprises, and never compromise on the fundamentals – lighting, power, and acoustics.
