Everything you need to know before stepping in front of the camera. From wardrobe choices to mental preparation, set yourself up for stunning results.

The success of a photoshoot isn't determined just by the photographer – it's a collaboration. As someone who's been on both sides of the camera, I've compiled everything you need to know to prepare for an amazing session.

One Week Before

Preparation begins well before shoot day. This is the time to finalize your outfits, start your skincare routine, and visualize the results you want to achieve.

  • Create a mood board of poses and styles you love
  • Plan 2-3 outfit changes
  • Avoid drastic haircuts or new skincare products
  • Get good sleep – it shows in photos
  • Hydrate more than usual

Wardrobe Wisdom

What you wear can make or break your photos. Solid colors photograph better than busy patterns. Bring options – what looks great in person might not translate to camera.

Dress in a way that makes you feel confident. That confidence is what the camera captures.

Day of the Shoot

Arrive on time and ready to collaborate. Trust your photographer's guidance – we know how to bring out your best angles. Most importantly, relax and have fun. The camera captures energy.
